Another laps in blogging I’m afraid. Yup. As many of you already know Sammy didn’t see her shadow on groundhog’s day. She came on Sunday February 7th at 6:14 in the morning. Sammy a few minutes old Of course that was after Jenn went into labor at about 10pm the night before. We were so funny [...] Groundhog day. Not the Bill Murray comedy either. That crazy rodent saw his shadow, so six more weeks of this cold, dreary mess. But the question is will little Sammy see her shadow or will she come on time? Right now it’s week thirty-eight. It’s December 31st, 2009. New Years Eve. Unlike the past couple years, Jenn and I are sitting at home. It’s kinda nice. We’re going to watch the ball drop on TV then celebrate her birthday tomorrow with her parents. The other weekend, Jenn’s parents came by to visit. They actually come by to visit most Saturdays. Well, on October 10th, they were here. Doug and Audrey came with a dinner of some interesting concoctions, and after dinner we turned on the TV for just some background noise. Our local PBS [...] So a revelation hit me like a sack of bricks… Kinda a funny one. Jenn and I are half way to having our first child. We had our ultrasound, you can read more about that on a previous post. We’re having a Girl. Today started with a a rainbow. No, really it did! I swear. As last night, I kinda griped about searching for meaning, tonight I find myself not able to get a topic to write about. Isn’t that funny? I get all deep and almost morose about making sure there is a point behind the madness, and then in only a day I find myself lacking exactly what [...] Jenn and I were sitting back and we had to discuss that when I was younger I always thought that being expectant parents, nine months would be a long time to wait. Now that we are nearing the end of the second trimester, OMG where did the time go. There are sooooo many things to do! [...] So the Dawn of a new blog site. Feels kinda empty in here. Well the price is right, and might as well make ourselves at home. That’s right boys and girls Seth and Jenn have up and secured their very own domain address for the blogging of their lives. Moving away from wordpress.com isn’t really necessary, [...] |
