Remember long ago wen we were all school children? It was a far off time in history, I know. I’ve been working since I was 16. Even when I didn’t have a work shift on the weekend I always had something I had to do. It’s nasty how we let our lives run away from us because we think it’s what has to be done. I haven’t had a Saturday truly off since I was in grade school or maybe Jr. High. I totally forgot what it’s like.

My outdoor office
So today, Saturday, I’m sitting out on my front screened in porch working on fun stuff for the interwebs, like adding new plugins to my blogs, and fine tuning my stats reporting, and such… Yes I’m a dork, but it is fun to find the neet little toys. This morning before the rain rolled in Jenn and I went for a 3 mile walk down the river trail. It was awesome. (if you want to track our walk go to http://runkeeper.com/user/sethghouston/ Or follow my new dedication to being fit at http://sethjenn.org/weight/ )
I’m doing these new things that I haven’t been able to do for a very long time. And it feels great!
